arso.lol — Slovenian weather

Returns the latest weather at one ARSO station in Slovenia: temperature, feels-like, wind, humidity, precipitation and condition, with the time it was measured and whether it is a station observation or the ARSO forecast for this hour (stations measuring once a day). Also returns today's sunrise and sunset and the rain outlook for the next 24 hours. The station is a slug from find_stations or a station name.

get_current_weather

Finds official ARSO (Slovenian Environment Agency) weather stations in Slovenia by name, by region, or nearest to a location. Names match without diacritics and as a substring ("skofja" finds "Škofja Loka"). With latitude/longitude the stations are ordered by straight-line distance, which covers towns without their own station. Each station has its region, whether it measures live or once a day, the latest temperature and condition, and its slug, the input for get_current_weather and get_forecast. Only covers Slovenia (146 stations, including mountain summits such as Kredarica).

find_stations

Returns the current weather at many ARSO stations across Slovenia at once, ranked by temperature or wind, optionally limited to one region or to stations where it is raining now. Answers questions such as where it is warmest, coldest or windiest in Slovenia right now. Stations without a reading from the last 3 hours are left out.

Returns the ARSO forecast for one station in Slovenia: an hourly series for the next hours (spacing grows from 1 h to 3 h and 6 h further out, see interval) and a daily outlook for up to 11 days with high, low, condition and precipitation. The station is a slug from find_stations or a station name.
