AutoTraderSA

Use this to search vehicles listed for sale in South Africa. Only include properties that are required or explicitly relevant to the user's request. Do not send placeholder values such as "Undefined", empty strings, zero-value filters, or empty arrays. If no variant is specified along with make and model, omit variant entirely - an example of this would be: "makeModels": { "make": "Toyota", "model": "Corolla Cross" }. Similarly, if no model is supplied with make, omit it entirely: "makeModels": { "make": "Toyota" }. It is preferable to lookup the correct make/model/variant combinations before using this tool to search for active listings. Whenever location is supplied ensure that both the location ID and area are passed together as part of the body parameter. A valid location property looks like: "location": { "id": 432, "name": "Cape Town", "area": "City" }. Attempt to combine all the search criteria into a single request to get the most relevant results, rather than sending multiple requests with fewer parameters. For example, include multiple makes, models and/or variants in the same request instead of sending separate requests for each. The more specific the search criteria, the better the results will be.

search_listings

Use this to lookup a location ID when it needs to be supplied as part of a request for the search_listings tool. Whenever search_locations is used, pass the selected location object into search_listings with id, name, and area preserved.

search_locations

Use this to lookup the matching makes, models, and variants for a specific search text, along with the count of listings per each. This tool can only lookup one make/model/variant at a time - make multiple calls when looking up multiple make/model/variants. When supplying results from this tool to search_listings, pass the selected make/model/variant object into search_listings with make, model, and variant preserved. A valid make/model/variant property looks like: "makeModels": { "make": "Toyota", "model": "Corolla Cross", "variant": "2.0 High" }. If variant is not available, simply omit it: "makeModels": { "make": "Toyota", "model": "Corolla Cross" }. Similarly, if model is not available, omit it entirely: "makeModels": { "make": "Toyota" }.
