Card4U Postcards

Show the authenticated user's available Card4U balances in Euro. Returns regular, voucher, earned, and total balances. Use it to check available funds before a paid order; it is not a quote for a postcard. Requires OAuth authentication.

get_balance

Check whether this session is a guest session or is connected to Card4U. Use this when deciding whether a new draft should immediately belong to an account, or before placing a paid order. Guests may create an unclaimed draft; only an OAuth-connected Card4U account can place an order.

get_mcp_connection_status

Create a free postcard draft with artwork, a message, and an optional recipient address. Use this before previewing, editing, or placing a paid single or batch order. With OAuth, the draft belongs to the user; without it, the response has a claim_url and a later paid order assigns the draft to its authenticated payer. Artwork is optional; without it, the service creates a blank white front. Prefer artwork_file for an attached or generated image or PDF. artwork_url is for a remote file and artwork_base64 is inline data. The server detects whether the artwork is an image or PDF automatically. Use source_postcard_id to reuse existing artwork. A PDF has one front-artwork page and may have one back-design page; it must contain one or two pages. The service prints the message and address on the back, so do not include them in the artwork. Recommended print format: 154 x 111 mm (6.06" x 4.37"), recommended image size 1819 x 1311 px (300 dpi). The returned address check is a formatting hint, not delivery verification. Returns the postcard_id, preview links, ownership state, and any warnings.

create_postcard

Delete one unpaid postcard draft and remove its personal data and files. Use this only after the user confirms they no longer need the draft. Bulk postcards are not supported and must be managed in the web editor. Paid or approved postcards cannot be deleted here; check can_delete_draft from get_postcard first. An unclaimed draft is accessible with its returned postcard_id; an account-owned draft requires that account's OAuth authentication.

delete_postcard_draft

Inspect one postcard by postcard_id before editing, deleting, or sending it. Returns its status, artwork settings, message, recipient address, preview URL, current estimated price in Euro, and whether it can still be edited, deleted, or sent. Bulk postcards are read-only in MCP and must be managed in the web editor. Address results are formatting hints only and do not verify delivery. An unclaimed draft is accessible with its returned postcard_id; an account-owned postcard requires that account's OAuth authentication.

get_postcard

List fonts available for the postcard message and recipient address. Use a returned filename as ``font`` in create_postcard or update_postcard_draft. No authentication is required.

list_fonts

List the authenticated user's most recent postcards. Use this to find a postcard_id for viewing, editing, deleting, or sending. Returns up to 50 entries with title, status, cost, and creation time. Use get_postcard when the recipient address is needed. Requires OAuth authentication.

list_recent_postcards

Place one paid physical-postcard order from one existing draft. Use it only after the user has reviewed the draft and explicitly requested the order. The saved artwork, message, and address are printed as previewed; the account balance is charged and the draft becomes paid. Check estimated_cost_euro, address_state, and requires_warning from get_postcard first. The MCP does not send bulk postcards. Address checks are formatting hints, not delivery verification. An unclaimed draft is assigned to the authenticated payer immediately before payment. Returns the sent postcard's view_url. Requires OAuth authentication.

send_postcard

Update an unpaid postcard draft, including optional replacement artwork. Use this after inspecting a draft and before sending it. Bulk postcards are not supported and must be managed in the web editor. Omitted parameters retain their current values; pass an empty string to clear a text field. To replace artwork, provide artwork_file, artwork_url, or artwork_base64. The server automatically detects image versus PDF, with the same format rules as create_postcard. Artwork replacement requires OAuth; text-only edits remain available for an unclaimed draft through its postcard_id. Only unpaid drafts with editable artwork can be changed; check can_edit from get_postcard first.
