CharGen uses your connected account to review campaigns, session recaps and transcripts, organise folders, create and update campaign content, and generate D&D entities, encounters and loot. It can also make images, videos and audio (speech, music and sound effects), edit images from your gallery, and run one-click image workflows. Results show as a card in the chat, where videos and audio play. Generated library entries are public by default and may appear in public CharGen browsing; visibility can be changed in CharGen. CharGen is owned and operated by Vorontsov Consulting Services LTD.

Check a job by id: an entity generation job, or a request from chargen_generate_image, a fixed video, audio, image edit or workflow run tool from chargen_list_recipes, or a Pixel Sprites order tool. Returns status, the error on failure, and when ready the generation id or the media (media_type, media_url, page_url; a workflow run lists every output with its role; a sprite order lists every move or part with its animated GIF, its set_id and any Gold refunded). Checking a job never cancels it and never deletes or overwrites content. When a video, audio, edit or workflow job passes its time limit, CharGen records it as timed out and returns its Gold, whether or not anyone checks. Checking a completed generation may also file it in the folder requested at generation time.

Start a job to clean up one of the user's 3D models with Tripo Retopology: fewer, tidier faces, with an optional face target, quads, and UVs in the same pass (uv_in_same_pass). Price by version: v3.0 50 Gold (default), 55 Gold with quads, v2.0 45 Gold, v1.0 15 Gold. First call chargen_quote_3d_cleanup, confirm the price with the user, then supply its quote_token with identical inputs. Spends the quoted Gold; returns request_id to poll with chargen_get_job, which gives the model file (media_url, model_format) when it is done. The result is an FBX file, so a later split by name (GLB only) cannot use it. An identical call within about 10 minutes returns the earlier request instead of charging again; pass a new idempotency_key when the user wants another take with the same settings.

Prices depend on the model and its options: Tripo Parts 115 Gold, Tripo P2 115 to 150 Gold; chargen_list_media_models with kind model_3d lists every model's price and options. First call chargen_quote_3d_model, confirm the price with the user, then supply its quote_token with identical inputs. Spends the quoted Gold; returns request_id to poll with chargen_get_job, which gives the model file (media_url, model_format) when it is done. Improve the result with the 3D tools, for example chargen_quote_3d_cleanup. An identical call within about 10 minutes returns the earlier request instead of charging again; pass a new idempotency_key when the user wants another take with the same settings.

Create a session from a DM-approved prose summary (200 to 20000 characters), spending the Gold quoted by chargen_quote_session_log. Obtain approval of the summary and price, then set confirm=true. Processing creates a recap, entities, timeline, hooks and quest updates in the background, with no transcript or speaker features.

Delete a folder (and its subfolders/filed rows). Only ORGANISATION is deleted - the generations, entities, sessions and images filed inside are never touched. To unlink a codex folder from a campaign workspace without deleting it, pass the grafted root's ref_row_id; deleting the codex original also removes every campaign reference to it.

File an item into a folder. target_id is the thing being filed (a generation id by default; set item_type for CAMPAIGN_ENTITY, DOCUMENT, SESSION, IMAGE or VIDEO_PROJECT). When filing CAMPAIGN_ENTITY, DOCUMENT, SESSION or VIDEO_PROJECT into a codex folder that a campaign references, campaign_id is REQUIRED - the item lands in that campaign's overlay, not the codex itself. IMAGE items can only be filed into campaign workspace folders, never codex folders. Filing the same target twice updates the existing row: an omitted note clears it, an omitted pinned value unpins it, and an omitted sort_order keeps the current position.
