Use this when someone asks what car insurance costs, or would cost, in Quebec for a given driver and vehicle — their own, a family member's, or a car they are thinking of buying. When the driver's facts are not known yet, first ask for the key facts, one or two questions at a time: the first three characters of the postal code (never the full code) or the city, the vehicle (make, model and year) and the driver's age. Years licensed are not asked; send them only when the driver states them. Always set lang to the user's language. Send only facts the user stated, never a guessed or default value. Every result that is not an error carries structuredContent.intake, the interview status and the fields still missing, to refine or to drop, as field names: ask about them in the user's language. intake.refine lists a refinement only while the comparison group is usually large enough to keep an estimate once it is added; a rare answer can still leave too few drivers, and intake.relax then lists the criteria to drop. Estimates what car insurance would cost a Quebec driver with a given profile, from what comparable drivers were actually offered. Every figure is built from real ClicAssure quotes — the lowest offer of each comparable quote request — anonymized and aggregated. An answer is a statistical estimate, never a quote nor an insurance offer: only an insurer's quote is binding. Individual quotes, drivers or records are never returned. At least one parameter other than lang is required, or the call is rejected with an error. Each criterion narrows the comparison group. Group sizes are published as brackets such as 25-49, never as an exact number: quote the bracket, and do not present it as a precise count. Read profile.appliedCriteria back before answering: a model too thin for its year may be widened to the model years one either side of it, and profile.vehicle then shows that range; a postal code matching too few drivers may be widened to its city, and appliedCriteria then reports city instead of postalCode while profile.city holds the city. message explains each widening, and can appear alongside an estimate, not only in place of one. When the driver mentions 3 or more claims, pass that count; when they mention a licence suspension, a cancelled or refused policy, or an uninsured vehicle insurers refuse, set the matching flag; never ask about those three yes/no facts. If the driver mentions a criminal record (theirs or a household member's), never pass or repeat it in a call; say insurers specialized in non-standard risks handle such profiles, give no estimate, and give the quote link of the latest result; with no result yet, first ask for a key fact (location or vehicle), call this tool with it and give that result's quote link instead of its estimate: ClicAssure can still find the driver's best price. Without an estimate, noEstimateReason says why: too_few_profiles (too few comparable drivers; similarProfiles still says how thin the match was, and you can offer to drop a criterion of intake.relax) or non_standard_profile (insurers specialized in non-standard risks handle this driver; do not offer to relax). Either way, say that ClicAssure can still find the driver's best price and give the quote link that ends the text summary. estimatedAnnualPremium combines every coverage level, from third party liability only up to full coverage: never present it as the price of a particular coverage. estimatedMonthlyPremium and each package's monthlyMedian are the annual figure divided by 12, a way to say the price per month, not an insurer's monthly payment plan price. saving, when present, basis comparableDrivers: comparable drivers who gave their current premium were offered a median saving of that amount compared with it; basis siteAverage: too few of them gave it, so the amount is the average saving offered across all of ClicAssure's car quotes whose current premium was declared, not specific to this driver. Either way it is what was offered, never a promise; when saving is absent, say nothing about savings. The answer also breaks the price down by coverage package, each stating its deductibles, liability limit and included endorsements, so you can say what a given price actually covers. Each package's median comes from its own group of drivers, those whose lowest offer was that package: compare packages by their own price and deductibles, and never claim that a higher deductible always lowers the median. When the coverage the driver wants is known, lead with the matching package and say what it covers; full coverage (Collision or Upset plus Comprehensive Protection) is the "2 sides" packages. When it is unknown, give the overall median and the packages side by side. All amounts are in Canadian dollars, taxes included. Reading a package: collisionDeductible absent means Collision or Upset is not covered; comprehensiveDeductible absent means Comprehensive Protection is not covered; liabilityLimit is the Third Party Liability limit; among endorsements, 20A is Loss of Use (broad form), 34 is Injured Persons - Accident Benefits and 27 is Legal Liability for Damage to Non-Owned Automobile.
