eyeView

App-only: use when the user explicitly chooses Connect existing account inside the local file viewer to verify an existing eyeView account's active subscription access. Unavailable to the model; ordinary guest viewing does not require this tool. Does not create an account, start a subscription or perform checkout. Trials and free accounts do not bypass guest limits.

connect_guest_account

Use when the user wants to find a packaging proof, carton design, label, PDF or artwork already stored in their connected eyeView workspace. Search by document name and return document IDs and current version IDs for opening. Requires an authorized eyeView connection and searches only that workspace. For a file on the user's computer, use open_guest_viewer instead. Does not search ChatGPT attachments, other workspaces or the web.

search_documents

Use when the user asks which revisions exist or wants to open a specific earlier version of a document in their connected eyeView workspace. Return up to twenty recent versions, newest first; pass the matching version ID to open_document. Requires an accessible document ID, usually from search_documents. Lists version metadata; does not compare artwork, restore revisions or change approval status.

list_document_versions

Use when the user wants to open or visually inspect a packaging proof, label, carton design or artwork in their connected eyeView workspace, including pages, zoom, layers, available color separations or plan-enabled Object Inspector. Use a document ID from search_documents and, for a requested revision, a version ID from list_document_versions. Requires workspace authorization. Opening does not modify or approve artwork; saving a drawn note requires explicit viewer Save and separate annotation write consent. Sessions last ten minutes; call again to reopen. For local files, use open_guest_viewer.

open_document

Use when the user wants to open a local PDF, Adobe Illustrator (.ai), PNG or JPEG, inspect a carton design or label, or view packaging artwork without an eyeView account. Open the interactive viewer; the user chooses the file inside it. PDF and supported Illustrator artwork provide page navigation, zoom, layers and available color separations; PNG and JPEG are flat images. Five distinct files per browser guest session per UTC day; reopening the same bytes does not count again. File bytes stay in the browser. Does not accept file arguments, fetch URLs, access ChatGPT attachments automatically, upload files, create accounts, save notes, edit artwork or approve proofs. For stored eyeView documents, use search_documents and open_document.

open_guest_viewer

App-only: use after the user draws an annotation and explicitly chooses Save to eyeView in the embedded viewer. Save that one annotation and its initial note on the exact open, editable workspace document version after annotation write consent. Unavailable to the model and guest files. Does not save on viewing alone or add replies, attachments, mentions, approval decisions or artwork edits.
