Description
FeedBoss connects your assistant to your LinkedIn content workspace. It drafts posts in your saved voice grounded in your own knowledge base, scores a draft against a reader-reaction quality check before anything is published, saves drafts you can edit, and schedules approved drafts to publish to LinkedIn at a time you confirm each time. It also reports analytics, weekly posting-consistency streaks, and a refreshed wall of high-performing posts for inspiration.

A plain-language question about anything FeedBoss stores for this creator, answered from their real data. Use it when no other tool fits, or when the answer spans several areas. Pick the `domain` closest to the question so the right data is loaded in depth; every answer is grounded in who they are regardless. NOTE: `query` is only used when domain is "knowledge_base", where it drives the search. Every other domain ignores it, so do not send one.
ask_feedboss_data
Put a FeedBoss carousel on an existing draft, so it publishes as a swipeable LinkedIn document carousel. Works while the carousel's PDF is still being built: it is finished when the post publishes. The carousel replaces any images, carousel or video already on the draft, so pass replace:true to confirm when the draft carries one. Costs no credits. Nothing is published; it stays a draft the creator finishes and publishes from the app.
attach_carousel_to_post
Attach a PDF you or the creator made (for example a slide deck) to an existing FeedBoss draft, so it publishes as a swipeable LinkedIn document carousel. Give the PDF by a fetchable https URL, or as inline base64 bytes (dataBase64), which needs no network access but costs you output proportional to the file, so reserve it for a small PDF. At most 25MB and 300 pages. The PDF replaces any images, carousel or video already on the draft, so pass replace:true to confirm when the draft carries one. Costs NO credits (no AI is involved). Nothing is published; it stays a draft the creator finishes and publishes from the app. For images, use attach_images.
attach_pdf_to_post
Attach an image you made with generate_image onto an existing FeedBoss draft, so the creator can finish and publish it from the app. Pass the imageId from generate_image and the postId of the draft. Optionally pass altText for the image (accessibility caption, recommended under ~120 chars). This attaches to a personal-profile draft; company-page posting is a separate path that does not exist yet. Nothing is published; it stays a draft. Costs no credits. To push your OWN images (by URL, inline bytes, or several at once for a swipeable carousel), use attach_images instead.
attach_image_to_post
Put a video you uploaded through create_video_upload on an existing FeedBoss draft. Pass the draft's postId and the uploadRef create_video_upload returned, after your PUT succeeded. FeedBoss checks the uploaded file, stores it with the draft and starts sending it to LinkedIn, which takes a few minutes; the creator can publish once that finishes. The video replaces any images, carousel or video already on the draft, so pass replace:true to confirm when the draft carries one. A video that is still being sent to LinkedIn cannot be replaced yet; the error says so, and you can retry with the same uploadRef a few minutes later without uploading again. Costs NO credits. Nothing is published; it stays a draft the creator finishes and publishes from the app.
attach_video_to_post
Attach one or more of the creator's OWN images onto an existing FeedBoss draft, each with optional alt text. Give each image by a fetchable https URL, the imageId of a FeedBoss-generated image, an uploadRef from create_image_upload (best for anything large: your environment uploads the bytes directly and you never have to emit them), or inline base64 bytes (dataBase64 with its mimeType), which needs no network access but costs you output proportional to the file, so reserve it for small images. An image already in the conversation can also go in imageFiles, by its file path or reference: hosts with file parameters (such as ChatGPT) turn it into a download link FeedBoss fetches, so no bytes pass through you. If the only copy of the image is local to you and every upload route is blocked, say exactly that and let the creator choose, rather than quietly dropping the image. Pass several images in one call to build a swipeable multi-image LinkedIn post (a carousel); LinkedIn allows up to 20 images per post. Set replace:true to clear any images already on the draft first, otherwise images are appended. Attaching images also replaces any carousel or video already on the draft, so pass replace:true to confirm when the draft carries one. Costs NO credits (no AI is involved). Nothing is published; it stays a draft the creator finishes and publishes from the app. For a single FeedBoss-generated image, attach_image_to_post is the simpler tool.
attach_images
Take a scheduled post off the calendar. It reverts to a draft, so nothing is lost and it can be scheduled again later. Free, owner/admin only. Nothing is published.
cancel_scheduled_post
Change an AI-artwork carousel by slide number: redraw a slide from an instruction, add a slide from a prompt you write, remove a slide, or move one. Slide numbers are the carousel as it is before this change, as get_carousel lists it. A new slide is drawn on its own from its prompt alone, so its prompt should carry the carousel's look. COSTS 10 CREDITS for each slide added or redrawn, at most 50 for one change; removing and moving are free, and nothing is charged on the workspace's own AI key. Only the carousel's maker can change it, and not while a post using it is waiting for or has approval. One carousel job at a time per account, and a daily limit. It can take a few minutes: if it is not done within about 40 seconds the result carries a jobId to check with get_carousel. An identical change within 2 minutes returns the earlier result instead of applying it twice.
change_carousel
How many FeedBoss credits this workspace has left, and what each action costs. Worth checking before proposing something expensive, so you can tell the creator the cost up front instead of failing partway through. Read billedInCredits first: when it is false the balance does not matter, because this workspace pays for its own AI usage directly and is charged no credits for anything.
check_credit_balance
Run a draft through the same reader-reaction check FeedBoss runs in-app, before it goes anywhere near LinkedIn. It is the judge, not an AI-detector: one model call scores five dimensions (specificity, shape, stance, payoff, and surface tells), returns a band and a score out of 20, and quotes the exact weak lines back with a concrete suggestion for each. Alongside it run the deterministic rendering checks (em dashes, Markdown that LinkedIn renders literally, engagement bait), which stay in the `structural` block and are the fallback if the model call is unavailable. Rate-limited per workspace, charges no credits, changes nothing. Fix the highest-severity items before proposing the draft.
check_post_quality
PERMANENTLY delete a FeedBoss draft and its attachments. This cannot be undone, so confirm with the creator first. A published post cannot be deleted this way. You must be the post's author, or a workspace owner or admin; a post in review must be recalled to draft before it can be deleted. Use this to clear an abandoned draft rather than leaving revisions to pile up.
delete_post
Rewrite the TEXT of an existing FeedBoss draft in place, so a revision replaces the draft instead of stacking a new one beside it. This changes the post body only, not any attached image or carousel. Only an editable post can change: a draft or scheduled post, or a post the reviewer sent back (changes_requested/rejected) when you are its author or a workspace owner/admin. Nothing is published; the creator reviews and publishes from the app.
update_post
Write a post through FeedBoss's own pipeline: the creator's voice profile, their saved style guide, their knowledge base, and an anti-slop repair pass. COSTS 5 CREDITS, the same as in the app, so confirm with the creator before calling it. A workspace running on its own AI key pays nothing and the result says so. The post lands as a draft in FeedBoss, not on LinkedIn. If you would rather write it yourself, do that and file it with import_post instead, which is always free.
generate_post
Generate an image through FeedBoss and save it to the creator's image library. Write a detailed, VISUAL prompt describing exactly what to draw (subject, composition, colours, mood, any on-image text), because this generates straight from your prompt without a second refinement pass. The workspace's brand identity (its colours, type and logo) is applied automatically when the brand kit is on. COSTS 25 CREDITS, the same as in the app, so confirm with the creator before calling it, unless the workspace generates on its own AI key, in which case it is free and the result says so. The image lands in FeedBoss only, not on LinkedIn. Put it on a draft with attach_image_to_post.
generate_image
Request one short-lived, presigned upload slot per image. This is the right way to attach any image you hold locally that is more than a few hundred KB and that your host cannot pass to attach_images as a file (imageFiles), because your environment transfers the bytes itself and you never have to emit them as output. It requires outbound network access to the storage host; some sandboxes block that by default and refuse the PUT. If that happens, do not silently give up: tell the creator the upload was blocked by your environment's network settings, which they can usually allow for code execution, and offer the alternatives (attach the file in the FeedBoss app, pass it in attach_images' imageFiles when the host supports file parameters, or inline a small image via dataBase64). The flow: call this with one entry per file (its mimeType and exact sizeBytes); for each returned slot, HTTP PUT the raw image bytes to uploadUrl with a Content-Type header matching the declared mimeType; then call attach_images passing each uploadRef as that image's source. A refused PUT leaves only dataBase64, which is worth using for a small image and not worth attempting for a large one, since you would have to emit the whole file. The upload URLs are short-lived (they expire around ten minutes out, see expiresAt), so PUT promptly. Costs NO credits, and the bytes count against your workspace media storage only when the image is attached - an upload slot you never use costs nothing. Nothing is published; attach_images lands the images on a draft the creator finishes and publishes from the app.
create_image_upload
Start putting a video file you hold (for example one made in another product) on an existing FeedBoss draft. Give the draft's postId and the file's mimeType and exact sizeBytes. FeedBoss checks the file against its video limits (75KB to 300MB; mp4, mov, avi, asf, flv, mpeg, mkv or webm) and the workspace storage, then returns one presigned upload URL. HTTP PUT the raw video bytes to that URL with exactly the Content-Type and Content-Length headers the reply lists (a different size or type is refused), then call attach_video_to_post with the returned uploadRef. The URL expires 30 minutes after it is issued, so PUT promptly. The PUT needs outbound network access to the storage host; if your environment refuses it, tell the creator it was blocked by your network settings and that they can attach the video in the FeedBoss app instead. Costs NO credits, and the bytes count against storage only once the video is attached. Nothing is published.
create_video_upload
LinkedIn performance for this workspace: followers, lifetime totals, the current window against the one before it, and when posting has worked best. Requires a connected LinkedIn profile; says so plainly when there is none rather than returning zeros.
get_analytics_overview
Full detail of a single post this creator owns: its title, status, complete text, media summary, any attached images, its first comment and timestamps. Use it to read a draft back in enough detail to verify an edit or attach landed, or to confirm what a draft holds before scheduling it. Reads only; changes nothing.
get_post
How the creator is tracking against their weekly posting goal: this week so far, the current and longest streaks of weeks that met the goal, and the recent week-by-week history. Counted per week, not per day, and only published posts count.
get_posting_consistency
What actually went out and what is queued, in date order: published posts from the last 90 days and everything scheduled ahead. Drafts are excluded on purpose, so this answers "what is my cadence and what is coming up" rather than "what am I working on". Use list_recent_posts when you need drafts too.
get_posts_timeline
The creator's writing voice and professional identity as FeedBoss has it on file. Call this BEFORE drafting any LinkedIn content so the draft sounds like them rather than like a generic assistant. Returns their role, positioning, audience and posting style.
get_voice_profile
The FeedBoss workspaces this assistant is connected to. When there is more than one, pass the chosen workspace's id as the `workspace` argument on the other tools. Ids are opaque; match them to the creator by name, and confirm which one before acting if it is unclear.
list_workspaces
The saved writing voices for this workspace: eight anti-slop presets seeded by FeedBoss plus any the creator built from their own posts. Each one carries a style guide that describes how to write in that voice. Ask for the guides when you are about to draft something; the names alone are enough when you only need to offer a choice.
list_content_styles
A shared wall of high-performing LinkedIn posts from tracked creators, refreshed twice a month. This is inspiration, NOT the creator's own content: use it to see what is landing in a topic before drafting. Never present these as something the creator wrote. These are public posts the creator can study, so you may quote and analyze them to teach the craft. Each entry carries the full post text, its LinkedIn link (postUrl), and the shape of any media it used (carousel slide count, linked article). To let the creator see a post fully rendered with its images or video, offer its LinkedIn link rather than implying you can display the visual yourself.
list_popular_posts
The creator's own posts from the last 90 days plus anything scheduled ahead, including drafts. Use this to see what they have already covered before proposing a topic, or to find a draft to work on. Returns the full text of each post, plus its title, how many images it carries, a media summary and its first comment, so two drafts that open on the same line can still be told apart. Use get_post for the full detail of one of them. For how published posts performed, use list_top_posts.
list_recent_posts
The creator's OWN published LinkedIn posts from a recent window, best first by reactions plus comments plus reposts. Unlike list_popular_posts, which is other creators' posts, these are posts the creator wrote and published. FeedBoss has reactions, comments and reposts for each post, not impressions or reach. The numbers refresh nightly, so a post from the last day may still be climbing. Reposts of other people's posts are left out. Each entry carries the full post text, its LinkedIn link, when it went out, its media type, each count, and when its numbers were last synced, so you can re-rank by any one of them.
list_top_posts
Make a LinkedIn carousel of AI-drawn slides from slide prompts you write, saved in the creator's FeedBoss Image Studio. Each slide is drawn on its own from its prompt alone, so every prompt should carry the shared look (style, colours, type, layout) as well as that slide's words. With the brand kit on, the workspace's brand palette and logo are applied and the brand palette wins over colours in the prompts. COSTS 50 CREDITS, as in the app, or nothing when the workspace generates on its own AI key; the result says which. The slide count range depends on the plan, and a count outside it is refused with the range. One carousel at a time per account, and a daily limit. It can take a few minutes: if it is not done within about 40 seconds the result carries a jobId to check with get_carousel. An identical call within 2 minutes returns the earlier result instead of making another. Nothing is published; put it on a draft with attach_carousel_to_post.
create_carousel
Read a carousel by carouselId, or pick up a create_carousel or change_carousel job by jobId. Pass exactly one. A job still running is waited on for about 40 seconds. Returns the slides, numbered, with each image URL and the start of its prompt, whether the PDF LinkedIn shows is built yet, and a picture of the slides when one is ready. Costs no credits.
get_carousel
Change the time of a post that is already scheduled. Free, owner/admin only. Like scheduling, this is outward: confirm the new time with the creator first. Only a post currently in the scheduled state can be moved; to schedule a draft use schedule_post.
reschedule_post
File a post you wrote into FeedBoss as a real draft, so the creator can score it, schedule it or publish it from there rather than copying it out of this conversation. Free, because FeedBoss did not write it. Run check_post_quality first and fix anything blocking. This creates a draft only: nothing is published.
import_post
Put a FeedBoss post that has not published yet on the calendar to publish to LinkedIn at a time you give. Free, owner/admin only. Works on a draft or an approved post (a post still waiting for review cannot be scheduled); to MOVE a post that is already scheduled, use reschedule_post instead. This is an outward action: confirm the exact final text and the exact time with the creator before calling, and run check_post_quality first if you have not. It stays reversible: reschedule_post moves it, cancel_scheduled_post pulls it back.
schedule_post
Semantic search over the creator's own saved sources: documents, links, notes and transcripts they have added to FeedBoss. Use this to ground a draft in what they actually know and have published, rather than in general knowledge. Returns the matching passages with the page each came from.
search_knowledge_base
Set the comment FeedBoss posts under a post the moment it publishes to LinkedIn, often used for a link the creator does not want in the post body. This REPLACES any first comment already set; send empty text to clear it. Only a post that has not published yet can change: a draft or scheduled post, or one the reviewer sent back when you are its author or a workspace owner/admin. LinkedIn does not allow a first comment on carousel, PDF, video or multi-image posts: the comment is still saved, but the result says willPost:false and why. Max 1250 characters. Nothing is posted now.
