Get one EIS adviser visible to a firm: identity, address, organisation, and firm-scoped fee amendments. Does not return bank details, or linked subscriptions — use list_subscriptions with adviserId when available.
eis_get_adviser
Get the full screening detail behind one AML potential match (hit) for an investor or one of their UBOs, explaining why they were flagged: PEP listings (title, country, chamber, function, institution type, political party/position/region, related URLs), warning listings, sanction listings, fitness & probity listings, and adverse media articles (title, URL, snippet, published date). Fetched live from the screening provider, so call it only for the specific hits you need to explain. First call get_investor with returnFilter ["amlMatches"] (investor hits under amlMatches.investor, UBO hits under amlMatches.ubos[].amlPotentialMatches with the UBO id as uboId). Only works for hits in the current KYC session, not expired sessions.
eis_get_aml_hit_details
Get one EIS portfolio company for a firm, as on the admin company page. A company is grouped by legal name and may have several share classes; passing the companyId of any one share class returns the whole grouped company, with each share class broken out inside every section. Defaults to summary only when returnFilter is omitted. performance gives company totals plus per share class figures (share price used, shares held, initial value, current hold value, gross and net realised value, total value, blended multiple: gross MOIC, total value / initial value, before fees and excluding dividends), current or as at asAtDate; gross realised value includes share-for-share consideration. Net realised value is cash exit proceeds after fees only; it excludes share-for-share consideration, which is included in gross realised value (list_exits valueAfterDeductions includes it). Company figures cover one company each: a share-for-share exit is realised value in the exited company and also cost and holding value in the acquiring company, so summing figures across companies counts it twice; use list_tranche_performance or get_overview_summary for portfolio totals. sharePriceHistory lists each share class revaluation with the shares held on that date. shareholdings is one row per investor shareholding (paginated); shares moved between investors show as transferredIn (where this shareholding came from) and transferredOut (shares later moved to other investors), each with the other subscriptionId and the date. A shareholding fully transferred away is not listed, so that transfer only appears as transferredIn on the receiving shareholding; transferredOut appears only when the sender still holds some shares. Potential next steps: list_allocations and list_exits with a share class companyId for allocation and exit history.
eis_get_company
Get one EIS custom update: an ad-hoc message to a chosen audience of investors, advisers and organisation users. Returns status, submitDate, title, subject, the message body (plain text converted from the stored rich text), how the audience was chosen (recipientFilter with the targeted tranches, companies, allocations or custom tags, and which recipient groups were included), delivery method, account manager, signed attachment links valid for 24 hours, and recipient counts. Custom updates have no per-investor PDFs. Recipients are stored when the update is sent, so they reflect who received it.
eis_get_custom_update
Get analytics for one EIS data room. Defaults to visits only when returnFilter is omitted. Lists (viewers, agreementAcceptances, interestedInvestors) share page/limit and search. viewerDetail (content viewed and visit history for one viewer) needs investorId or viewerEmail. Each agreementAcceptances row is one signer (investor, adviser, or organisation); agreements lists each acceptance with a signed PDF link valid for 24 hours, as a signer can accept again when the terms change or several users can accept for one investor. Durations are in milliseconds.
eis_get_data_room_analytics
Get one EIS deployment update: the notice telling investors that their money has been invested in a company through a share allocation. Returns submitDate, title, subject, the email text above and below the investment details (plain text converted from the stored rich text), the company, the share allocation (matches a row in list_allocations), and signed attachment links valid for 24 hours. Deployment updates are always submitted and have no per-investor PDFs. Recipients are the investors whose shareholdings were in the allocation; their advisers were also emailed but are not recorded.
eis_get_deployment_update
Get one EIS exit statement: the letter sent to investors about an exit (company realisation) or an amendment to one. Returns the statement's status, submitDate, exit and amendment IDs and dates, companies, account manager, the summary, letter and notes (plain text converted from the stored rich text), and signed supporting-file links valid for 24 hours. For exit figures use list_exits; for one investor's proceeds use get_subscription with returnFilter exitedPortfolio. Recipients are the investors who sold shares in the exit, paginated; each investor gets their own PDF, and a row includes a signed PDF link valid for 24 hours (null if no PDF was generated) only when investorId or search is supplied.
eis_get_exit_statement
Get EIS firm settings by category. Defaults to general only when returnFilter is omitted. List firms via list_firms. Never returns the excel files password value.
eis_get_firm
Get the EIS Admin Dashboard Overview fund-value-over-time series for a firm as one date-keyed series. Each datapoint always includes date; other metrics are only included when listed in returnFilter and when that source series has a point for that date (gaps are left unset). Pass at least one returnFilter. capitalRaised is lifetime cumulative as of each date (includes capital raised before the chosen dateRangeKey). capitalRaisedInPeriod is cumulative within the chosen dateRangeKey and always starts at zero from the start of that period.
eis_get_fund_value_over_time
Get one EIS investor in a firm. Defaults to summary only when returnFilter is omitted. List investors via list_investors.
eis_get_investor
Get the EIS firm Admin Dashboard Overview headline figures as a current lifetime snapshot: lifetime total value, performance multiples (TVPI, RVPI, DPI), current value AUM, total net realised value, total capital raised (with all-time investor count), and capital awaiting deployment. Optional tagIds filter by fund type — obtain ids from list_fund_tags.
eis_get_overview_summary
Get one EIS periodic update (the regular portfolio report to investors). Always returns the summary: status, submitDate, fund-type tag IDs, PDF build status, and revaluedCompanies (companies whose share price this update revalued). Narrative fields are plain text converted from the stored rich text. Each investor gets their own PDF of the update; recipients lists the investors it was sent to, and a row includes a signed PDF link valid for 24 hours (null if no PDF was generated) only when investorId or search is supplied.
eis_get_periodic_update
Get one completed SEIS/EIS certificate batch for a firm. Pass exactly one of eisWizardId or kiFundCertificatesBatchId; batchType is eis or seis for a share-allocation batch, or kiFund. eis and seis batches (one per share allocation): company, HMRC details entered for the batch (UIR, share description, dates, KI flag, signatory), and certificate counts; certificatesWithPdf excludes certificates recorded without a generated PDF; shareAllocationUploadId matches a row in list_allocations. kiFund batches (one per tranche, for knowledge-intensive fund certificates): tranche, fund reference number, fund-manager address and signatory, and certificate counts. Both batch types return certificatesAndInvestors: each generated certificate PDF as { investorId, investorFullName, signedCertificateUrl }, sorted by investor name, where the URL is a signed download link valid for 24 hours; an investor with several subscriptions can have several entries. Naming: 'seis' in these tool names is shorthand for S/EIS (SEIS and/or EIS), not SEIS only. A batch's investmentType (EIS or SEIS) says which scheme its certificates are for; it is null until certificates are created. KI fund certificates are EIS.
eis_get_seis_certificates_batch
Get one EIS subscription in a firm. Defaults to overview only when returnFilter is omitted. List subscriptions via list_subscriptions.
eis_get_subscription
Get one tax year's EIS annual tax report audit for a firm. Always returns the year's approval status, then either investors or taxReport depending on input. Without investorId: investors, the firm's investors paginated, each with hasReport (whether the investor has anything to report that year). With investorId: taxReport (and no investors), that investor's annual tax report worked out from current data: income tax reliefs claimed (with EIS and SEIS subtotals), lost reliefs, interest, dividends, capital gains and losses, and signed links valid for 24 hours to the EIS3, SEIS3 and knowledge-intensive fund certificates attached to the report. Amounts are in GBP. Dates are UTC (YYYY-MM-DD). Until a tax relief's EIS3 or SEIS3 certificate is issued, isCertificatePending is true, shareIssueDate is null and taxRelief is 0.
eis_get_tax_report_audit
Get one EIS tranche (fund) by id for a firm: identity, status, dates, raise/fee settings, data-room link, and the marketing details (minimum subscriptions, income tax relief, target return, target portfolio size; the last three are free text as entered). Does not return document bodies or subscription rows. fundStatus is numeric: 0 = Closed, 1 = Open to investors, 2 = Draft.
eis_get_tranche
List EIS advisers visible to a firm (associated or with investments in the firm), including organisation, and last login. Subscription stats are included by default; set excludeInvestmentStats to omit them for a faster response. Filter by search or organisation; paginate with page/limit.
eis_list_advisers
List EIS share allocations (allocation history) for a firm, including drafts. Each row has the company, allocation date, tranche names, allocation method, and totals. totalSubscriptionAmount is the share cost (shares × share price), excluding totalTransactionFee; totalTransactionFee includes VAT. Completed allocations: totalShares, totalSubscriptionAmount, totalTransactionFee, and numberOfInvestors are as allocated (or as last edited); later exits and transfers do not change them. taxReliefElegible is one flag for the whole allocation, so it applies to every tranche in the row. includesFinalDeal is true when at least one tranche was marked as its final deal in this allocation, which marks that tranche fully deployed. Drafts (isDraft): these are allocations that are not yet applied, so no shares or certificates exist. totalShares, totalSubscriptionAmount, and totalTransactionFee are the proposed figures; allocationDate is the proposed date; numberOfInvestors, taxReliefElegible, includesFinalDeal, and isDeploymentUpdateSent are null because they are only set when the allocation is completed. The allocationMethod field can be one of the following values: auto = generated by the auto-allocation tool; manual = entered from a spreadsheet upload; exitConsideration = created by a share-consideration exit (exitId matches an exit in list_exits).
eis_list_allocations
List EIS portfolio companies for a firm, as on the admin Companies page. Each row is one company, grouped by legal name, which may have several share classes (each has its own companyId). firstCompanyId is the companyId of one of those share classes, provided as a convenient ID for the whole company in get_company. With returnFilter shareClasses, each row adds every share class with its companyId. With returnFilter metrics, each row adds current performance totals across every tranche and share class: shares held, latest revaluation date, initial (cost) value, current hold value, gross and net realised value, total value and blended multiple (gross MOIC: total value / initial value, before fees and excluding dividends). Gross realised value includes share-for-share consideration. Next steps: get_company with firstCompanyId or any share class companyId for the full company (per share class performance, performance as at a past date, share price history, share splits, dividends, news and per-investor shareholdings); list_allocations and list_exits with a share class companyId for allocation and exit history.
eis_list_companies
List EIS core fee templates for a firm. Rows always include id, name, createdAt, and whether the template is in use. Pass returnFilter with details (and optionally name) to include full fee definitions — there is no separate get tool.
eis_list_core_fee_templates
List EIS data rooms (investment opportunity pages) for a firm, sorted by headline. Each row has status and its full statusHistory (oldest first, with the reason for each change), headline, url (the page investors open; null if the firm has no domain set), the tranche it is attached to (null if none), key information, access settings with each access group (who is in it via memberSelection, its minimum investment amount required, and document viewing permission), and whether an agreement or interest collection is enabled. Returns metadata only, not document or page content. Use get_data_room_analytics with dataRoomId for visits and viewers.
eis_list_data_rooms
List EIS exits (company realisations) for a firm. Row-level values are the exit's current totals after all amendments: totalExitValue, valueAfterDeductions, and taxableValue include any share consideration, while fees come from cash proceeds only; date is the original exit date, while sharePrice and lastAmendmentDate reflect the latest amendment. An amendment is a later change to an exit, such as a revised share price or further proceeds, recorded as a new entry rather than by editing the original. exitLog lists the original exit and each amendment, newest first; each entry's monetary values in the exitLog are the change from the previous entry, not running totals, while its share prices are that entry's own prices (e.g. an amendment raising the price by 10p on 1,000 shares shows exitValue 100). For share-consideration entries, taxable value and fee figures do not apply; sharePrice is the consideration value per share sold, and consideration gives the shares received. For one investor's proceeds from exits, use get_subscription with returnFilter exitedPortfolio.
eis_list_exits
List EIS fees for a firm. Returns fee rows plus summary and custodian export totals. Each row may include viaExitId when the fee was accrued and later charged to the investor on that exit (link to the exit record), or oneOffFeesBatchId when the line came from a one-off fee/discount batch (batch details via list_one_off_fees). isCashMovementFee marks fees from investor cash movements (balance fee, discount, withdrawal fee) rather than subscription fee lines. Filter by investor/fee name, tranches, fee timing, accounting, date range, or custodian export tab; paginate with page/limit.
eis_list_fees
List EIS fund-type tags in use for a firm (tags that have at least one fund with subscriptions). Use tagId values as tagIds / fundTagIds on get_overview_summary and get_fund_value_over_time.
eis_list_fund_tags
List successful EIS interest payment uploads for a firm. Each row is one upload with investor count, total interest, and payment dates. Filter by upload or payment date range (pairs required); paginate with page/limit.
eis_list_interest_payment_uploads
List EIS investor updates (communications sent to investors) for a firm, sorted by submit date. Each row has updateId, updateType, title, status and submitDate, plus type-specific IDs; custom and deployment updates also have an email subject (periodic updates and exit statements have none). Rows don't say who an update was sent to: pass updateId to get_periodic_update, get_exit_statement, get_custom_update or get_deployment_update (according to updateType) for its audience and recipients. Exit statements are one row per exit or amendment, showing the submitted statement when there is one, otherwise the draft.
eis_list_investor_updates
List EIS investors for a firm as slim rows (identity, account type, contact, KYC statuses, subscription totals, current cashBalance, default adviser id, and userCount: the number of portal users with access to the investor, listed by get_investor with returnFilter users). Filter by search text or tranche; paginate with page/limit.
eis_list_investors
List EIS one-off fee and discount batches for a firm. Each row includes batch name, fee type, calculation basis, total amount, fund names, and investor count. Pass returnFilter with investorIds to include the investor ID list per batch. Filter by search; paginate with page/limit.
eis_list_one_off_fees
List EIS adviser organisations visible to a firm. Filter by search, parent/child type, or parent id; paginate with page/limit. Optionally include subscription stats via includeInvestmentValues. Child is the default organisation type and it just means it has no parent. To get linked advisers, use list_advisers with organisationId.
eis_list_organisations
List outstanding/completed EIS subscription payment expectations for a firm. Doesn't include details of the payments made towards a subscription, but does include overall payment status. Filter by search, date range, or payment status; paginate with page/limit. For list of payments made towards a subscription use get_subscription with payments in returnFilter.
eis_list_payments
List EIS performance fee templates for a firm. Rows always include id, name, createdAt, and whether the template is in use. Pass returnFilter with details (and optionally name) to include full performance fee definitions — there is no separate get tool. Performance fees are tiered: each fee's percentage applies only to gains between its hurdle and the next fee's hurdle. hurdle is a multiple (for example, 1 = 1x) of invested capital, per hurdleBasis: COMPANY = the capital invested in that company; INVESTMENT = the capital invested across the whole subscription.
eis_list_performance_fee_templates
List SEIS/EIS tax relief certificate batches for a firm (the SEIS/EIS certificates tasklist): one row per share allocation, showing whether its investor certificates have been issued (status complete), are still outstanding (notComplete), or are not needed (na: not tax-relief eligible, or exited). Rows carry IDs for follow-up tools: eisWizardId or kiFundCertificatesBatchId (knowledge-intensive fund certificates, when isKiFundCertificate) for get_seis_certificates_batch, and shareAllocationUploadId, which matches a row in list_allocations. Filter by search text and status; paginate with page/limit. Naming: 'seis' in these tool names is shorthand for S/EIS (SEIS and/or EIS), not SEIS only. A batch's investmentType (EIS or SEIS) says which scheme its certificates are for; it is null until certificates are created. KI fund certificates are EIS.
eis_list_seis_certificates_batches
List incomplete EIS subscription applications for a firm. Rows are grouped by investor and tranche (fund), not flat subscriptions — each row is the latest application for that pair, with prior applications under previousApplications. Applications from the last year only. Filter by search, tranche, completion or archive status, or advised-only; paginate with page/limit. Completion status COMPLETED (admin “Show complete”) does not list subscriptions that completed normally and left the funnel: it keeps funnel rows where that application is still incomplete but the same investor later subscribed on the same tranche (see subsequentSubscriptionId). If that application itself became the completed subscription, it is no longer in this funnel and will not appear even with COMPLETED.
eis_list_subscription_funnel
List EIS subscriptions (investments) for a firm. Each row always includes investor, tranche, derived payment status, adviser, and subscription amounts (investmentAmount, investmentValue). Optional returnFilter performance adds balance and performance metrics per row (e.g. fundsReceived under performance.deploymentSummary and realised/unrealised values). Filters, sort, and pagination are on the input fields. Transferred-in subscriptions (isTransfer): by design they show paymentStatus Fully funded even though no cash was received on that subscription — performance fundsReceived is typically zero; capital moved via the transfer source, not new payments. Do not treat that as a reconciliation error.
eis_list_subscriptions
List EIS annual tax report audits for a firm, newest tax year first: one row per tax year with its approval status. Investors' annual tax reports for a year are released once it is approved. taxYearStart is the calendar year the UK tax year (6 April to 5 April) starts in; pass it to get_tax_report_audit for that year's investors and reports.
eis_list_tax_report_audits
List closed EIS tranches that are not fully deployed, with deployment progress (amounts deployed vs invested into the tranche, remaining to deploy, counts of companies that have received investment). deploymentPercentage is net of cash fees: totalAmountDeployed / (totalAmountInvestedIntoTranche - totalCashFeesOnInitialInvestment - totalReservedForFutureCashFee) * 100, as cash fees (charged or held back for the future) are never deployed.
eis_list_tranche_deployment_progress
List closed EIS tranches with performance figures summed across their subscriptions. totalInvestment is the amount subscribed; paidInValue is the cash received; investmentValue is the current value (netRealisedValue plus unrealisedValue); totalFeesChargedExAdviser is VAT-inclusive fees charged to investors, excluding adviser fees and net of one-off discounts; it includes performanceFeesCharged. moi (multiple on investment) and dpi (distributions over paid-in, i.e. netRealisedValue / paidInValue) are based on paid-in value; moic (multiple on invested capital) is based on investedCapital, which is the amount invested into companies. Company counts are share classes the tranche has held: active still held, realised fully exited. Request companiesInTranche to list them otherwise you get the counts only; share classes of the same company can be grouped by legalName. asAtDate is slower: every figure is as at that date, counting only subscriptions made on or before it. For identity and dates only, use list_tranches.
eis_list_tranche_performance
List EIS tranches (funds): id/name, status, start/finish/closed dates, fullyDeployed, and dataRoomId. Filter by name, status, fund-type tag, fully-deployed, or whether the tranche has subscriptions; paginate with page/limit. fundStatus in responses and filters is numeric: 0 = Closed, 1 = Open to investors, 2 = Draft.
eis_list_tranches
List EIS subscription transfer records for a firm (investor-to-investor share/cash transfers). Filter by search or created-at date range; paginate with page/limit.
eis_list_transfer_records
List EIS investor cash withdrawal requests for a firm. Each row includes investor, amounts, status, dates, and a signed attachment URL when present. Filter by status, investor name, or date range; paginate with page/limit.
eis_list_withdrawals
Create an expense entry for an LP vehicle. Validates the type, calculates apportionment periods, generates accounting transactions, and creates the expense group.
lp_add_expense
Create an income entry for an LP vehicle. Validates the type, calculates apportionment periods, generates accounting transactions, and creates the income group.
lp_add_income
Create a commitment for an investor in a vehicle. Links it to the investor's vehicle application in progress in that vehicle, or creates a manually added one. A linked application's commitment settings (fee templates, commitment date, reference, external ID), target commitment and general partner flag are overwritten with these inputs, including clearing any that are omitted; its onboarding steps are kept. No onboarding steps are completed and no email is sent.
lp_create_commitment
Create an LP investment for a vehicle. Supports creating new assets and holding classes or using existing ones. Handles allocations, transactions, and approval automatically.
lp_create_investment
Create an LP investor (individual or legal entity) with optional core and bank details. For INDIVIDUAL, firstName and lastName are required. For LEGAL_ENTITY, registeredName is required. Does not create a vehicle application or commitment — use create_commitment afterwards to attach them to a vehicle. For a quick investor (individual only) plus empty application, use add_investor_to_vehicle instead.
lp_create_investor
Get the full screening detail behind one AML potential match (hit) for an investor or one of their UBOs, explaining why they were flagged: PEP listings (title, country, chamber, function, institution type, political party/position/region, related URLs), warning listings, sanction listings, fitness & probity listings, and adverse media articles (title, URL, snippet, published date). Fetched live from the screening provider, so call it only for the specific hits you need to explain. First call get_onboarding_investor_kyc with returnFilter ["amlMatches"] (investor.id, and hits under kyc.amlPotentialMatches) or ["ubos"] (UBO hits under ubos[].amlPotentialMatches, with the UBO id as uboId). Only works for hits in the current KYC session, not expired sessions.
lp_get_aml_hit_details
Get the balance sheet for the current vehicle as at a chosen date, alongside the prior financial year-end for comparison. Returns assets (investments at cost, unrealised gain/loss, investments at fair value, cash, receivables and prepayments, escrow receivables, accrued income, capital due from partners, total assets), liabilities (accounts payable, accrued expenses, capital due to partners, total liabilities), net assets, and partners' capital (general partner, carry partner, limited partners, total), plus whether the sheet balances. Read-only.
lp_get_balance_sheet
For one or more reconciled bank account operations, return the ledger actions (and allocated amounts) each operation was reconciled against — e.g. the invoices, fees, investments or bank transfers a reconciled bank line matched to. Obtain the bankAccountId from list_bank_accounts and the operation ids from search_bank_account_operations (status=RECONCILED). Use this to answer "what did this reconciled bank line pay for / reconcile against".
lp_get_bank_operation_reconciled_actions
Get details of an ad-hoc bulletin update by bulletinUpdateId. Recipients are the investors selected for this bulletin (the same investorIds used for portal visibility and email), not every investor in the vehicle. recipientTarget describes how that set was chosen (e.g. selected-investors). Use returnFilter to request specific sections (commentary, attachments, recipients, storedPdfs, views) to keep token usage efficient. Filter by investorId to inspect notification preferences, assigned attachments, or retrieve signed PDF URLs for a specific investor. The commentary field is stored as rich-text JSON — do not output it verbatim; summarise the content or pick certain parts of it instead of trying to render the JSON.
lp_get_bulletin_update
Get a single capital action (capital call or distribution) by id: its name, status, dates, and entry-level totals by entry type. For per-commitment capital breakdown, allocations, transactions and transaction allocations use inspect_capital_action with the same capitalActionId as the actionId. For payment/reconciliation progress use list_capital_actions. Obtain the capitalActionId from list_capital_actions.
