Adds a relationship note to an account or contact in the signed-in user's G2X CRM, written as the user; it shows on the record's notes and timeline. The same words on the same record again return the existing note.
g2x_crm_add_note
Adds a note to a pipeline item, authored by the signed-in user. A note added here is always private to the signed-in user: G2X shows it only to them. Notes that teammates shared with the account still appear in g2x_list_pipeline_notes. Requires comment access to the pipeline.
g2x_add_pipeline_note
Adds a task, assigned to the signed-in user, to one of their G2X pursuits; it shows on the pursuit and, when that pursuit is linked to an account, on the account's timeline. A pursuit id comes from a pipeline read or from an account's pursuit list. Adding the same task again within 24 hours (same pursuit, same subject ignoring case and spacing, and the same UTC due day, or no due date both times) returns the existing task instead of a second one.
g2x_crm_add_task
Adds up to ten G2X records (or pursuits by name) to one of the signed-in user's pipelines, in a stage named by its name (stage) or its id (stage_id); without either, G2X's own default applies. A record already on that board is reported with its existing item, never added twice. Requires edit access to the pipeline.
g2x_add_to_pipeline
Shows how a contract vehicle is used in G2X's award data — contract holders on record, task orders and money obligated on them — found by name, program acronym, solicitation number or vehicle ID. An exact IDV PIID or full CONT_IDV_ key instead reports that one award and its bounded orders. A task-order PIID or CONT_AWD_ key returns a correction with its recorded parent IDV key when available. These are partial figures: G2X's records may not list every holder, and they are not the vehicle's ceiling; the program office publishes both. Useful for deciding whether a vehicle matters in a lane.
g2x_vehicle_usage
Provides the starting company context for a research session. Returns the company profile the signed-in user claimed in the GovCon Directory (company, UEI, primary NAICS, certifications, location and the agencies on its recent contracts) and the applicable search filters, including a one-query override. Says when the profile's UEI isn't in SAM registration data, and list_profiles lists every claimed profile. With no claimed profile it says so, lists the questions for a missing profile, and links the page to claim one. Reads only the user's own claimed profiles; it changes nothing.
g2x_calibrate_session
Reports a capture run's status and, once it completes, its results — extracted requirement counts, the compliance matrix totals, and for a Bid/No-Bid run the scored verdict with its dimensions, blockers, risks, advantages and gaps. An extraction that stored its requirements returns them as rows, one per requirement, with the run's status. With opportunity_id instead of run_id, it lists earlier runs on that opportunity, newest first, without starting one.
g2x_get_analysis_run
Returns a company's SAM socioeconomic certifications by UEI — 8(a), SDVOSB, HUBZone, WOSB and similar — from G2X's company records, and says when G2X has no certification details for the company.
g2x_socioeconomic_status
Returns a company's federal contracting portfolio by UEI: prime award counts, IDV awards it holds, and associated contract vehicles. The summary shows up to 5 awards per category; limit reduces that summary below 5. With expiring_within_days, summary rows come only from the requested end-date window; portfolio counts describe the broader history.
g2x_company_contract_history
A company's own public page — tagline, followers, website — and its most recent public posts, each linked where it has a link. The name, domain, UEI and page username jointly identify one company; a name that fits several companies and is narrowed by neither a website domain nor a page username returns candidates to choose from. Your G2X account access and usage limits apply. Posts are the company's own statements, not confirmed award facts. Related award facts are available in G2X records.
g2x_company_web_profile
Recent public web and news signals about a company — announcements, teaming and partnership news, leadership moves, acquisitions — each with its source link where the story has one. Resolves the company first; a domain or UEI distinguishes names. Unknown or conflicting company identifiers return no match, and an ambiguous name asks which company is meant. Your G2X account access and usage limits apply. Signals are context, not confirmed award or contract facts. Related award and contract facts are available in G2X records.
g2x_company_signals
Creates a new G2X AI profile owned by the signed-in user in their G2X account, as Settings > AI profiles does: for example one per legal entity, or one per market or subvertical. bidding_name sets the name to bid under for this profile (a DBA) when it differs from the registered legal name. It never changes which profile is the user's default; only a user who has none gets their first profile for their own company as it, as G2X's setup does. Each call creates a new profile; existing profiles are listed separately. A G2X AI profile (Settings > AI profiles in G2X) is the private context Lumen and Bid Hub use for the user's work: the company or entity it represents, the name to bid under, focus codes, capabilities and past performance. A user can keep several, such as one per legal entity or market. It is not the public company profile a company claims on its G2X company page.
g2x_create_ai_profile
Creates a pipeline owned by the signed-in user, as G2X's Create pipeline does: it gets the default stages a new G2X pipeline gets, or the named stages from the account's stage list. Answers with the pipeline's id, its stages (ids and names) and its G2X link; the pipeline can hold G2X records. Each call creates a new pipeline. The account's plan sets how many pipelines it can have.
g2x_create_pipeline
Deletes one of the signed-in user's pipelines and every item on it, as G2X's Delete pipeline does; the G2X records themselves stay. This cannot be undone, and only the pipeline's owner can delete it. Requires the person's confirmation, represented by confirm: true, before removal.
g2x_delete_pipeline
Starts G2X's requirements extraction over the opportunity's document set — solicitation, attachments, amendments, or only the attachments you select — and returns the run's identifier. The typed, cited requirements (what the offeror must do, submit, or meet, with their family, kind and source location) are stored as the run completes and are read from the run, not from this answer.
g2x_shred_opportunity
Use this when you need federal obligation totals and rankings by agency, place-of-performance state, NAICS, or recipient in one call, with award record IDs behind top rows. Choose contracts, idvs, or all explicitly; all includes contracts and IDVs only. Fiscal years measure annual net obligations. Date ranges select award dates and return the matching annual obligation buckets. Do not use for grants, transaction-date spending, award ceilings, or a parent family's total; use recipient_profile for family totals.
spending
Use this when you do not know which G2X tool answers a question. Searches tool descriptions, field definitions and worked examples. Returns five distinct tools by default, with input schemas, matching fields, a recipe, required inputs and availability. Check needs before calling a tool; a relevant award or company reader may require an identifier or parent lookup first.
g2x_search_tools
Searches the signed-in user's G2X CRM for accounts and contacts by name, UEI, website, email, the domain of an email, or G2X id, and returns each match with its G2X id and the fields that tell records apart, how many records match, which fields were searched, and a cursor while more match. The returned ids identify existing records for notes, logged interactions and next steps.
g2x_crm_find
Finds potential teaming partners in a NAICS, ranked by number of distinct contracts in the current federal fiscal year and two before it unless a window is specified. Shows obligated dollars where the source reports them and certification check results. Excluding UEIs removes your own company or direct competitors; next_cursor identifies more partners.
g2x_teaming_partners
Opens a known G2X record directly by id or record_id, without a discovery search. Reads opportunities, companies, procurement forecasts, contracts and IDVs, and bid protests. Full CONT_AWD_/CONT_IDV_ keys and SAM UUID/32-hex notice IDs imply their record type when omitted; other IDs need record_type: a protest's case id, from a protest search, needs record_type protest. Public SAM notices include bounded source text in fields.notice_text; pass its notice_text_cursor back as this tool's own notice_text_cursor input to read more. Generated briefings and attachments are separate. Each notice lists its G2X page link where G2X has a page for it; the link accompanies the notice.
g2x_get_record
Reads a stored compliance matrix by run_id, or the latest matrix by workspace_id. Accepts an opportunity_id to read the latest stored matrix from up to 10 of the opportunity's most recent existing account workspaces. An opportunity id is not a workspace id. Returns one row per requirement with its status, counts of its evidence, citations and covering sections, and the stored rationale with up to four citation labels. This read never creates a workspace or starts an analysis.
g2x_compliance_matrix
Use this when you need one federal award's facts by PIID or award key: holder (name, UEI, parent), awarding and funding agency, obligated, current value, ceiling (base and all options), current and potential end dates and an IDV's ordering end, each with its source. Do not use for finding awards (use the procurement records search) or an IDV's orders (use the IDV summary). Examples: {"identifier":"ZZ0001-26-D-0042"}, {"identifier":"CONT_AWD_ZZ000125C0107_9700_-NONE-_-NONE-"}.
g2x_get_award
Lists pipelines with their stages, owner and edit rights. Owned boards come first, then editable boards, then view-only; alphabetical within each group. The scope filter selects mine, editable or all (default). Pages include next_cursor when more pipelines remain.
g2x_list_pipelines
Lists the signed-in user's Saved Views, newest first, optionally for one list page, with each view's filters and G2X link. Returns up to 50 at a time; when there are more, the answer says so and gives a cursor for the next page.
g2x_list_saved_searches
Lists the notes the signed-in user can see on one pipeline item, newest first: their own private notes and the notes teammates shared with the account. Each note shows its author, its day and whether it is private or shared. The answer carries the count of the notes they can see; when more remain, next_cursor reads the next page.
g2x_list_pipeline_notes
Use this when a question needs one award's modification history: which modifications it has, what each one obligated (the change on that action, not a running total), which one last added funds, and the award's cumulative obligated total. Newest first, with dates, modification numbers and when served an action type and description. Do not use for finding awards by contractor, agency or keyword, or for comparing several awards. Examples: {"piid":"W912DY24C0012"}; {"piid":"W912DY-24-C-0012","positive_funding_only":true}.
g2x_award_transactions
Lists the opportunity's source documents on file in G2X — solicitation, attachments, amendments — with each document's category, readiness, version and whether its text can be read. Each document's line gives its G2X file link and a link to its fully parsed version where they exist; those links accompany the document. Parsed links are Markdown by default; format json returns structured JSON (pages, tables, page numbers). Reads what is stored and starts nothing; documents not on file yet are prepared by the separate preparation action.
g2x_opportunity_documents
Lists contract or IDV awards whose period of performance ends in a window — defined by expiry_fiscal_year or pop_end_date_range — scoped by agency, NAICS/PSC, dollar floor, or recipient UEI. A listing, not a search. The total is G2X's match count when the whole list was read; otherwise no total is claimed and the page says how far it got.
g2x_expiring_awards
Lists the signed-in user's G2X AI profiles: each one's id, name, the company it represents, UEI and CAGE when linked, its bidding name when one is set, whether it is their default, whether it is shared with their team, which of the five Bid/No-Bid readiness sections are complete and which are missing, and its page in G2X. A G2X AI profile (Settings > AI profiles in G2X) is the private context Lumen and Bid Hub use for the user's work: the company or entity it represents, the name to bid under, focus codes, capabilities and past performance. A user can keep several, such as one per legal entity or market. It is not the public company profile a company claims on its G2X company page.
g2x_list_ai_profiles
Lists the claimed company profiles on the signed-in user's G2X account: each company's UEI and name, its public page in the GovCon Directory, the current value of each field its owner can change (description, employee_count, website, careers_url, jobs_publication_opt_out, dba_name), which are empty, and whether the account's plan lets the owner edit them. A claimed company profile is the company's public page in the G2X GovCon Directory, which anyone on G2X can see; the user's account claimed it as the company's owner (GovCon Directory > My Claimed Profiles). Only its owner can edit it, and only the name G2X shows for the company (doing business as, DBA), its description, headcount, website, careers page and whether scraped job openings are hidden from public job browsing. The registered SAM.gov data on the page (legal name, CAGE code and address) is not edited here. It is not a G2X AI profile: G2X AI profiles are the private context Lumen and Bid Hub use for the user's own work.
g2x_list_my_company_profiles
Lists the records on the signed-in user's G2X watchlist, optionally one record kind, with G2X links. Returns up to 50 at a time; when there are more, the answer says so and gives a cursor for the next page.
g2x_list_watchlist
Records a call, meeting, email, or event that already happened as one note on the account and on each person involved, and moves each person's last-contacted date forward. It needs account_id, contact_ids, or both: an interaction with neither is refused. Planned next steps and tasks are separate from this record of a completed interaction.
g2x_crm_log_interaction
Returns what one National Stock Number is: the item, its federal supply class, the part numbers it is known by with the CAGE supplier behind each, and, when DLA cancelled or reclassified the NSN, the items that replaced it. Takes an NSN dashed or undashed, or the bare 9-digit item number. Answers from DLA's public catalog; when the catalog has no item for an NSN, lists the open notices in G2X that name it. The CAGE codes are catalog references (part-number holders in the catalog), not the approved sources for a buy.
g2x_nsn_lookup
Moves a pipeline item to a stage named by its name (stage) or its id (stage_id). The stage's gates apply: a blocked move answers with the missing fields and open checklist items; an editor may pass override_rationale. Moving an item to its current stage changes nothing.
g2x_move_pipeline_item
Opens (or creates) your G2X workspace for an opportunity and prepares its source documents for analysis, then lists them, with the workspace id it prepared. A deliberate action: it may start reading documents that are not on file yet and the workspace's requirements extraction. The plain document listing shows what is already on file without starting anything.
g2x_prepare_opportunity_documents
Finds published hourly ceiling rates by category and filters, or by company UEI. For a known company, call directly with {"mode":"company","company_uei":"<UEI>","labor_category":"Engineer"}; uei aliases company_uei and query aliases labor_category in company mode. Company mode is implied by a top-level UEI when mode is omitted. Search and company results use page and page_size (default 10). Your account's row limit also applies; the answer's page_size is the rows per page actually used, and page counts pages of that size. A rate names company_uei and company_name only when its published vehicle PIID matches exactly one contract holder; company_link says linked, unlinked (no holder matches the PIID), ambiguous (more than one does), not_applicable (the rate names no PIID) or unverified (the holder could not be confirmed from the PIID). Search rows are ranked by how closely the category matches the words; exact_category marks an exact normalized category match. A returned next_cursor contains the next page number for the same search arguments. When capped is true, total is a lower bound or unavailable; it is not the complete matching count. Statistics covers one exact normalized category and its filters; total and sample_count count rate rows. Statistics and contributor prices are numbers rounded to cents; an even median averages the two contributors' rounded prices. It cites the minimum, maximum and median contributors. These are ceiling rates, not offered prices. Statistics also give p10, p25, p75 and p90 in cents when there are enough rates to place them; title_match "exact" counts only the exact published title, case-sensitive.
g2x_labor_rates
Runs one query over G2X's own procurement data — awards, opportunities, contract vehicles, bid protests — with the verbs list, search, get, count and, for awards, aggregate. The "help" command lists the sources, and "<source> --help" lists a source's filters. Every list answer carries an exact total and says when it was cut; a large answer returns its first page and saves the whole set as a workbook on G2X for you to download.
g2x_query
Reads one of the signed-in user's G2X AI profiles in full, by its id: every editable field, by the same names, which fields are empty, readiness for Bid/No-Bid, and whether the user can edit it. A G2X AI profile (Settings > AI profiles in G2X) is the private context Lumen and Bid Hub use for the user's work: the company or entity it represents, the name to bid under, focus codes, capabilities and past performance. A user can keep several, such as one per legal entity or market. It is not the public company profile a company claims on its G2X company page.
g2x_get_ai_profile
Reads one account or contact from the signed-in user's G2X CRM as G2X shows it now: its fields, next step, people or account, linked pursuits, and latest notes.
g2x_crm_get_record
Reads one pipeline as the signed-in user sees it: its items with their stage, agency, value, last_changed (the last change to the item, not necessarily a stage move), when it moved to its current stage and G2X links, a page at a time; next_cursor identifies the continuation and is absent after the last page. This is also the readback after adding, moving or removing an item. The stable rows[].duplicate_of names the first earlier item for the same underlying G2X record. facts[Same title as] is a neutral relation for equal displayed titles (ignoring case and repeated whitespace) to another item in the prefix read from the board start through this page; equal titles alone never establish duplicate identity. Matches beyond that prefix are not checked, so an absent relation does not establish a unique title or record.
g2x_get_pipeline
Reads one event on the G2X calendar by its slug: dates, where it is held, organizer, registration link, the event write-up's summary, the speakers it names, and how many agenda days and sponsors it lists, with the event's G2X page. Registering happens on the organizer's site, not here.
g2x_get_event
Returns the complete text of an opportunity document already on file in G2X — solicitation, statement of work, amendment — as Markdown (the stored parse, byte for byte) or as structured JSON (every page with its text and elements). A large document arrives in exact chunks: each result names the whole document's byte count and SHA-256 and, until the last byte, a next_cursor to continue from; nothing is ever cut without saying so. With page, it returns that one page instead. Serves stored content only; it never starts a new parse.
g2x_opportunity_attachment_text
Use this when you need a recipient's identity, award-reported ultimate parent when known, and fiscal-year net obligations for the recipient and its parent family, each separately labelled. A UEI selects one recipient; an ambiguous name returns candidates. Family totals cover contracts and are reported only when available, never replaced with direct totals. Choose contracts, idvs, or all (contracts plus IDVs; excludes grants). Do not use for current legal ownership, grants, award details, or cross-recipient rankings; use spending for rankings.
recipient_profile
Lists contracts ending in a window — yours or a competitor's — each with the open opportunities that could be its recompete, a confidence band, and the reasons it matched. Candidates are possibilities, never findings; every row carries its confidence and provenance. The result counts every contract in the window; next_cursor identifies the next page through the cursor input, and sort supports end_date or value.
g2x_recompete_radar
Removes an item from a pipeline (the pipeline entry only; the G2X record stays). Requires the person's confirmation, represented by confirm: true, before removal. Requires edit access to the pipeline.
g2x_remove_from_pipeline
Use this when you have a PIID, award key, SAM UEI, solicitation number, notice id or company name and need the canonical id and the record_id the record read takes. Hyphens and spaces in a PIID are accepted. Do not use for keyword, agency or NAICS searches: use the procurement records search. Examples: {"query":"M67854-22-D-8001"}; {"query":"Meridian","kind":"company"}.
g2x_resolve
Starts G2X's quick Bid/No-Bid analysis for an opportunity against your AI profile and returns a run identifier, plus the profile used and its readiness when G2X reports them. Omitting profile_id uses the default AI profile. A profile with fewer than five complete sections carries an incompleteness warning. The completed analysis contains a go / go-with-risks / no-go recommendation, overall and dimension scores, blockers, risks, advantages, gaps, possible partners, and what could change the answer.
g2x_qualify_opportunity
Runs one of the signed-in user's Saved Views the way its page does, with today's clock, and returns the page's rows with G2X record links plus the view's own page in G2X. Views on pages that only run in G2X answer with the page to open.
g2x_run_saved_search
Saves a search as one of the signed-in user's Saved Views on a G2X list page (contracts, SAM.gov opportunities, grants, forecasts, IDVs, vehicles), using that page's own filter keys. The page validates the filters and names any key it does not read. Saving an identical view under the same name on the same page returns it unchanged. Changing an existing view's name, filters or alerts requires g2x_update_saved_search with its id and updated_at as expected_updated_at. notify_cadence turns on the page's updates for a new view (paid plans). Requires a connected G2X account.
g2x_save_search
Adds a person to the signed-in user's G2X CRM, or updates one they have; only the fields given change, and a new email or phone is added to the person. G2X finds the person by contact_id; otherwise it matches by email, then phone, then by name within the account given. An ambiguous match returns candidates and saves nothing. A subsequent save requires the chosen G2X id, or create_new for a record the person confirmed is new.
