Turn a household's own Israel Electric Corporation (IEC) smart-meter export into a consumption profile. Use this whenever the person has, or can download, their hourly usage file from the IEC website — it replaces every estimate in the other tools with their measured data. Provide exactly one of: `file` (when the person attaches the CSV in this chat), `csv_text` (a pasted excerpt), or `upload_token` (after create_iec_upload_link — use that for a full-year file, or when attaching does not work). Returns a profile_id: pass it to compare_electricity_plans, simulate_solar_tracks and classify_consumption_profile instead of hourly_profile or monthly_kwh. If the person does not have the file, call how_to_export_my_iec_data first. Personal details in the file (name, address, meter number) are discarded; only hour-of-day and monthly totals are kept, for 30 days. Only if the person explicitly agrees (contribute_to_statistics: true), the file's hourly readings are also added anonymously to Chashmalink's national consumption statistics, after the 30 days. Deleting the profile before then (delete_consumption_profile) means they are never added; once added they cannot be withdrawn.

analyze_iec_consumption_file

Check whether a smart electricity meter (מונה חכם) is installed at a specific Israeli street address. A smart meter is the prerequisite for time-of-use electricity plans and for exporting the hourly consumption file, so use this when someone asks whether they can switch supplier, whether they have a smart meter, or what they need before comparing plans. Requires the city, street and house number separately. Answers only about the address given; it holds no information about who lives there, their consumption or their supplier.

Classify a household's electricity consumption pattern as evening, morning, night, weekend or balanced from its hourly consumption, and report how peaky it is and how many kWh per month could realistically be shifted into night hours. Use it to explain WHY a particular tariff suits a household — a night-heavy home and an evening-heavy home want opposite plans. On the v2 server, pass profile_id (from analyze_iec_consumption_file) to use the household's measured consumption instead.

Compare what an electric car costs to drive in Israel against a petrol car, using the live electricity tariff and the current 95-octane price. Returns agorot per kilometre and shekels per year for both, plus the annual saving. Use it for 'is an EV cheaper to run', 'how much does it cost to charge a <model>', or to compare specific EV models. Call with no model to list what is available.

Rank every electricity plan available in Israel by how much money it would save a specific household, in shekels per month and per year. This is the single most common question about Israeli electricity — use it whenever someone asks which supplier or plan is cheapest, how much they could save by switching, or whether a particular plan is worth it. Accepts either a rough monthly kWh figure or, much better, the household's 24-hour consumption curve. Each result may include a link to Chashmalink's page for that supplier, where the visitor can compare it further, request a callback, or open the supplier's own signup. Chashmalink may earn a referral fee if they switch. Ranking is by calculated saving only and is never affected by that. Pass current_plan_slug ("iec-default" when they buy directly from the IEC, the most common case) to get each plan's saving versus what they pay today. When you recommend or list plans, include each plan's details_url as a link, so the person can compare it, request a callback or sign up.

Real measured electricity consumption for households in a specific Israeli city: how many households we have analysed there, their median monthly kWh, the mix of consumption profiles (evening/night/morning/weekend/balanced), and the average 24-hour load curve. This comes from actual smart-meter exports, not estimates from bills. Use it to answer 'how much electricity does a typical home in <city> use' or to compare a household against its own city. Cities with too few analysed households to publish safely are refused rather than answered thinly.
