Nifty

Add a draft listing to an existing inventory item on each given marketplace, to crosslist it. A draft copies the item's title, description, condition, quantity, SKU and cost, lists with the item's photos as of publishing, and its price follows the user's pricing rules in Nifty, or Nifty's fee-based defaults when none are set. It has no category or attributes. The drafts are saved on the item right away; nothing is sent to the marketplace. The result lists each new draft with what stops it from publishing. Set the draft's category and attributes with edit_item (its listings entry, with ids from search_categories and get_category_attributes) and fix the reported problems the same way, apply them with apply_item_edits_action, then publish with publish_drafts_action, which publishes every draft on the item. Nothing is added when the item has pending edits (apply or discard them first), is being published or generated, or has no photos; or when a marketplace is not connected or already has a listing on the item. For a draft that is already there, publish_drafts_action reports what it still needs; a delisted listing can't be relisted from chat, the user relists it in Nifty.

Add labels to one or more inventory items.

add_labels_action

Applies all of an inventory item's pending edits to the item in a single action. To leave a pending edit out, discard it first. When the pending edits include ones you did not make in this conversation, tell the user they are included. If the user rejects the proposal, the pending edits it covers are discarded. The effect depends on the item's listings: - Draft item (every listing is a draft): the edits are saved to the draft immediately. Nothing is published, listed or relisted; the item stays a draft and keeps its current In Progress / Ready to List status. This is the only way to save pending edits to a draft — there is no separate draft-save command. - Listed item (at least one live listing): the live listings the edits change (marketplacesToRepublish in the pending edits report) are republished asynchronously, typically within ~10-15 seconds, and only those need an active connection; if none change, the edits are saved immediately. Draft listings are saved without being published; sold or delisted listings are left alone. Nothing is created or relisted. Items that are being generated, have a listing scheduled to publish, or are sold or delisted with drafts left cannot be edited here; the user edits those in Nifty. Nothing is applied if any pending edit is stale (the item or listing changed after the edit was made) or invalid — make the offending edits again and apply once more.

Each call creates a new item: to change one you created, use edit_item. The result lists each draft with what stops it from publishing.

Permanently delete a label and remove it from all inventory items it is applied to. The items themselves are not affected.

Discard pending (not yet applied) edits on an inventory item — the given editIds, or all of the item's pending edits when editIds is omitted. Discarding never changes the live item; clearing a field's live value is an edit, not a discard.

discard_pending_edits

Edit fields on an inventory item. Each edit becomes a pending edit: nothing is applied to the item or its listings until apply_item_edits_action applies all pending edits at once. On a draft item, applying saves the draft without publishing it. get_pending_edits lists them and discard_pending_edits removes them. Editing the same field again replaces its pending value. Always call get_inventory_item first to get current values and listing IDs (add_draft_listing adds a listing on a marketplace the item is not on), with includeListingAttributes when changing a listing's category or attributes. For text changes (title, description, condition), call get_edit_item_instructions first and follow the returned instructions. Avoid discarding existing valuable details (measurements, flaws, etc.) unless the user asks for a full rewrite. Editable fields: title, description, condition, condition description, quantity, cost of goods (COGS), SKU and price. All except price apply uniformly to every marketplace listing. Photos/videos and shipping presets are NOT editable here, and scalar fields cannot be cleared. Only included fields change; string fields must be non-empty. Category and attributes are edited per listing, through listings, from that listing's marketplace taxonomy, including shipping attributes (shipping method, address, policy, package weight). Take category ids from search_categories and attribute ids from get_category_attributes; values of large or dynamic attributes come from search_attribute_members or load_dynamic_attributes. An attribute entry replaces its values; unset clears it. Name each attribute at most once per call. Custom and numeric values of an attribute that lists scales need the scaleId they are in. Set a parent attribute before or with the attributes that depend on it. Edits are checked with the item's pending edits before staging: an invalid one fails the call with the reason and stages nothing (edit ids not among the pending edits are this call's own). A missing required value is staged and reported. The returned report lists errors, which stop apply_item_edits_action until fixed, and warnings, which do not. Fix an error by editing the field again from the current values, or by discarding the edit.
