RaceCharts

Replaces the text of one indexed story caption in an isolated chart draft, preserving its timing and image. Does not save the chart.

set_chart_story_caption

Discover financial providers available to this account, supported metrics/cadences and limits. No provider call, allowance charge or chart change.

financial_data_capabilities

Resolve company names/tickers with the selected financial preset. Custom is public; FMP requires explicit account access. Uses financial action allowance; does not edit charts.

search_financial_companies

Import an image or soundtrack attached in ChatGPT using its authorized file reference. Never invent a download URL. If file transfer is unavailable, ask the user to upload through RaceCharts AI connections, then list_chart_assets.

import_chat_file

List permitted saved charts without loading their datasets or media.

list_charts

List immutable assets uploaded by this connection.

list_chart_assets

Find recent export jobs belonging to this connection, including interrupted requests. Use status to retrieve progress and download links.

list_video_exports

Sets one chart element’s position, scale and optional width for a specified orientation in an isolated draft. A null nudge resets that element’s adjustment. Does not save the chart.

set_chart_layout

Create an isolated variant draft, preserving the original project and all existing assets/data. Requires all-projects and data-write permission.

copy_chart

Get a private temporary upload URL for large images/music. Transfer bytes with an HTTP/file tool, not through model text, then finish validation.

prepare_chart_asset_upload

Prepare a NEW isolated chart from a curated example and/or native project document. Omitted fields keep the example's look/music. Requires all-projects + data-write permission. Returns a draft, NOT a saved chart: render/inspect then commit_chart_edit. Ask for approval only if approvalRequired is true; stop before commit for preview-only requests. Reuse requestId on a retry.

create_chart_from_document

Prepare a video export for a specific saved revision without rendering or spending credits. For an explicit user export request, follow immediately with start_video_export using userRequestedExport:true; no separate approval page is needed. For prepare-only, preview-only or do-not-export requests, stop here. Reuse the same request ID on retry.

prepare_video_export

Render exact beginning/middle/end video frames from an isolated draft, using the same renderer as the editor and exports.

preview_chart_draft

Read the latest draft revision before editing or after a conflict.

read_chart_draft

Read a chart revision, settings or a page of exact data. Media stays out of text responses.

read_chart

Removes the selected background, pie-center, end-card, soundtrack or named row-image attachment from an isolated chart draft. Does not delete the uploaded file or change the saved chart.

remove_chart_asset

Changes the project name of an isolated chart draft. Preserves chart contents and does not rename the saved project until the draft is saved.

rename_chart_draft

Render a prepared saved-chart video only when the user explicitly requested its export. Pass userRequestedExport:true for that request; do not ask for a separate RaceCharts approval link. Uses existing entitlement and may consume one video credit; never purchases anything. Never start for a preview-only, prepare-only or do-not-export request. Reuse the same job ID; after an uncertain response check status instead of launching again.

start_video_export

Replaces the primary or secondary dataset and its source note in an isolated chart draft. Requires data-write permission. Validates unique headers and row names, matching row widths and the cell limit. Does not save the chart.

replace_chart_data

Replaces the period-specific line-label list in an isolated chart draft. Each entry identifies a row, period and display label. Does not change numerical data or save the chart.

replace_chart_line_labels

Replaces the story-moment list in an isolated chart draft with the supplied periods, optional row names and captions. This replaces existing moments; it does not save the chart.

replace_chart_story_moments

Save the exact rendered draft revision and return the saved project link. With directSave consent, no separate review-page approval is needed; otherwise the revision must be approved. Use for requested creates/edits, never for preview-only requests. Fails safely if the saved project changed. Retry the same draftId/revision after a lost reply.

commit_chart_edit

Sets a curated background preset on an isolated chart draft using a catalog ID. Preserves other settings and data; does not save the chart.

set_chart_background

Assigns curated company-logo IDs to named rows in an isolated chart draft. Does not fetch arbitrary URLs or save the chart.

set_chart_company_logos

Adjusts chart pacing to a requested duration in seconds. By default motionOnly:true disables the final hold, results and end card; motionOnly:false preserves those endings and includes them in the requested duration. Changes only an isolated draft, not the saved chart.

set_chart_duration

Changes the chart type, orientation or visual template of an isolated chart draft. Supports bar, line and pie charts. Does not save the chart.

set_chart_format

Updates the supplied text, typography, display and ending settings in an isolated chart draft. Unspecified settings, media and data remain unchanged. Does not save the chart.

set_chart_presentation

Replaces the row-color mapping in an isolated chart draft with hexadecimal colors for the supplied row names. Preserves unrelated settings and numbers. Does not save the chart.

set_chart_colors

Replaces the row song-label mapping in an isolated chart draft. Does not upload, generate or play audio, and does not save the chart.

set_chart_row_songs

Sets emoji or short text symbols for named rows in an isolated chart draft. Image files use the separate asset attachment operation. Does not save the chart.

set_chart_row_symbols

Enables or disables value badges and sets their selected rows in an isolated chart draft. Does not change data or save the chart.

set_chart_value_badge

Shows or hides one supported chart element in an isolated draft. Preserves its content and the dataset. Does not save the chart.

set_chart_visibility

Create an isolated editing draft of a saved chart or a new bar/line/pie project. Does not modify the saved project.

begin_chart_edit

Restore the checkpoint before one connector commit, only if nothing changed after it. Cannot delete a newly created project.

undo_chart_edit

Apply a native Form or racecharts-project SHALLOW patch to an isolated draft. Omitted fields/media stay unchanged; explicit empty text clears a field, audio:null removes music. Data changes require data-write. Render then commit to save, requesting approval only if approvalRequired is true. Never pass redacted placeholders as media.

update_chart_draft

Upload a SMALL owned PNG/JPEG/WebP or MP3/WAV file (up to 1 MB of decoded bytes). For larger files use a signed upload, ChatGPT file reference, or RaceCharts AI connections. Images are decoded and metadata stripped. No arbitrary URL fetches. Requires assets:write.

upload_chart_asset

Attach a validated uploaded asset to a row, background, pie center, outro, soundtrack or story caption. Story uses the index returned in storyCaptions; include an accurate image credit.

attach_chart_asset

Validate a completed signed upload and create an immutable chart asset. Never attach unvalidated transfer files directly.
