Description
mini-cms-mcp is a small, self-hosted CMS whose only editor is an AI assistant. The MCP server lives inside the website itself, at https://your-site/mcp, so you manage pages, articles, images, PDF documents and redirects from a conversation with Claude, on desktop or phone. How publishing works: new pages and articles are created as drafts. Claude gives you a preview link that shows the page exactly as it will look, and the server only publishes an item with an approval token issued for that exact preview. If the text changes after the preview, the token stops working and a new preview is needed. Two actions take effect immediately and are not drafts: editing an item that is already published, and changing site-wide settings (name, description, theme, footer, analytics), which update the whole site at once. Every change saves the previous version first and is written to a tamper-evident log (who changed what, and when), so any edit can be restored. The AI changes content and site settings, never code: the server refuses anything outside its tool list, and the AI cannot edit the code, the theme files or the server configuration (it can only choose among themes already installed). Separate keys let a site owner give clients or colleagues their own editor access, and revoke it at any time. It is built for small sites: a few pages and a blog, plain PHP 8 with no database, no plugins and no admin panel. It runs on ordinary shared hosting with cPanel or Plesk, and is open source under the MIT license. Availability: this directory connector currently works only with sites hosted on paycode.ro subdomains, including the public demo (reset every night) where you can try it. To use mini-cms-mcp on your own domain, install the free open-source server on your hosting (installation guide in the documentation) and connect it from Claude Code with an API key header.
