Description
Nihontekini connects Claude to your Nihontekini account, the iPhone app for learning Japanese with Anki-style flashcards and FSRS spaced repetition. What Claude can do: - Build decks: add words from a topic, a JLPT level, a text, song lyrics or a photo of a menu or sign. Readings, English meanings and example sentences you leave out are filled in from the JMdict dictionary, and words already in the deck are skipped. - Quiz you: multiple-choice quizzes on the words you keep forgetting, mixing meaning, word and reading questions. Your answers are saved to the app's test history. - Show your progress: words started and known, reviews due, and your weakest words. - Fix cards: correct a reading, meaning or example, move cards between decks, suspend words you already know, or delete cards (Claude asks before deleting). - Look up words in JMdict by kanji, kana, romaji or English. Changes reach your phone the next time the app syncs. Plans: studying your own cards is free. On the free plan, AI agents can add 50 cards and make 3 quizzes a month. Premium, bought in the iPhone app, removes those limits. Claude can tell you what is left but can't change your plan. You sign in once with your email and a one-time code, and can revoke the connection any time in the app under Me > AI agents. The iPhone app is in early access and coming soon to the App Store.
