Integration details
Description
AuditFile is cloud-based audit, review and compilation software used by CPA firms and government auditors around the world. This connector gives Claude access to the AuditFile data you can already see, at the access level you choose when you connect, so you can work on your engagements without leaving Claude. What Claude can read at every level: who you are connected as, your clients, engagements and firm staff; engagement details, materiality and progress; the full section and procedure tree with sign-off state; trial balance summaries, accounts, adjustments, analytical reviews and findings; workpaper metadata and download links for supported file types; procedure notes with their review threads; and saved Report Studio reports for firm administrators. What Claude can do with read and write access: add and reply to procedure notes and review comments; create and update findings, adjustments, trial balance accounts and analytical review narratives; create clients and engagements; roll an engagement forward into the next period; log time; and set workpaper status. What Claude can do with full access: everything above, plus sign procedures off as prepared or reviewed, mark procedures N/A, resolve review comments, conclude findings, lock or unlock engagements, issue financial statements and delete records. How it works: you sign in with your normal AuditFile account (MFA, single sign-on and firm IP rules apply), choose the access level on an AuditFile consent screen (read only is preselected; firm administrators can limit the levels available to their firm) and approve. Every request runs as you, within your engagement permissions and the engagement lock, and is logged like any other AuditFile API call; every change is recorded as your work. Claude asks before using any tool that changes records. Access tokens are short-lived and renewed automatically; disconnect from Claude or revoke the connection in AuditFile at any time.
