Integration details
Description
Open Waters AIS lets you explore ship traffic using Automatic Identification System (AIS) reports. Look up a vessel by name or MMSI to see its last reported position, destination, and time of report. Find ships within a radius or a map area, or follow a vessel’s track over a time range. Coverage varies by region. You can ask which stations cover an area and how recently they heard a vessel. This connector reads public data without an account or API key. Use it for research and situational awareness. It is unsuitable for navigation or collision avoidance.
