Description
Research Monitor reads new papers in its fields every night (PubMed, bioRxiv, medRxiv) and keeps a knowledge base of findings, each tied to the sentence in the paper that supports it and checked against the paper's text. With this connector, Claude can: - Follow a field for you, and give you a daily reading list of its most relevant new papers, closest to your research focus first. - Tell you what's new in the fields you follow (or any field) over recent days or weeks: the papers rated most relevant, and the findings that changed. - Find evidence for a question, with the supporting quote and the paper to cite for each finding. - Say how established a finding is: one study or several, independent groups that agree or contradict it, and the model systems behind it. - Get a paper and what its findings changed in the knowledge base. - List the open debates and questions in a field, with their sides and the papers behind them. - Keep watching a claim: new evidence for or against it is filed as an alert in your Research Monitor account. - Place a passage, hypothesis or aim in a field: its area, the nearest ideas and findings, and the open questions there. The passage is not kept. - List who works in that corner, with their recent papers. It never states a person's views. - Test up to ten claims from a draft against a field: the findings for and against each, with papers and checked quotes, and a verdict word computed from their stances. Fields covered: gut biology and mucosal immunology; cancer cell therapy; single-cell foundation models and perturbation prediction. Findings are extracted by machine. Each says whether it passed the check against the paper's text, and quotes from full text are shown only where the paper's licence permits. Connecting needs a Research Monitor account; some results are part of paid plans.
